Is that the chassis the H3 is built on?

That's so lame even the last ones the H2s were built on truck chassis. The H1 was serious stuff but then these last two have been just bastardized hummers.

I think before you bash on these Hummers, you need to see what they can do off road. The Hummers are built on truck chassis, but they are heavily modified. I think most people mistaken the word "platform" and "chassis" Yes, they do share components, even powertrain, but the suspension, frame reinforcement, and the way the bodies are built is completely different. H1 was a military vehicle that has zero civility or creature comfort. I think what H2 and H3s are designed for, they serve their purpose and do them very well. You can do some pretty amazing things with them off road, including Rubicon, even in stock trim. So it's cool that you don't like H2s and H3s, but I wouldn't call them 'lame" Okay, I'm out of my soap box. by the way Dino, nice H3x, hope u enjoy it.

yea the cheif engineer dude for the hummer department goes to my church, he brings prototype hummers to church sometimes and they run them behind the church in the bits and woods. Great stuff. (we have had them sitting on the stage as well which was a site to see) After so many miles on the prototypes though the totally disassemble it and it never hits the road again in one piece. Pretty crazy to just waste the hummer like that.

The Hummer dealership has a video of all the lines going thru alot of mud and climbing rocks, the little H3 does as well as the big dogs. Like I said,it's her truck and that's what she wanted, you young guys will learn....the wife pretty much always gets what they want.

well they forgot to modify the engine trust me. I drove those things all the time when i worked at a hummer dealership and that has gotta be one of the slowest new vehicles ive ever driven. even an H2 would walk one. The I-5 in there is way underpowered for that vehicle. Its a nice truck for sure though.

They did upgrade the I5 from 3.5 to 3.7 and got another 22hp. Trust me, we know, we are working on it
