H1 was a military vehicle that has zero civility or creature comfort.

My old instructor has a white H1, the "Harley Hummer". I have ridden in it several times and it has all the normal comforts... it's actually pretty awesome inside.

I think what H2 and H3s are designed for, they serve their purpose and do them very well. You can do some pretty amazing things with them off road, including Rubicon, even in stock trim. So it's cool that you don't like H2s and H3s, but I wouldn't call them 'lame" Okay, I'm out of my soap box. by the way Dino, nice H3x, hope u enjoy it.

And again, it's cool that you think that, but I just see them as spin offs trying to get sales off the "hummer" name.

Ah, the wonderful thing about this website, we can agree to disagree. Personally, I like the original Humvee better than H2 and H3s. But I actually prefer the H3s to H2s because they are more manuverable. But I guess to me and most general public, H1 does lack creature comfort. I mean, it does have leather and CD player. But to me the cushion are too thin and they are noisy for most people, but hey, like you, I like them to most.
