Spent all day polishing and waxing Clifford with my portercable. Used Sonus FX-2 and then skipped to Meguiar's Gold Class Wax. Didn't have enough Klasse All-in-One to use. I didn't snap pics, wish I would have, but I actually had taped the entire side stripe, window molding, and Camaro logos. I realized today how much of a pain in the ass it's going to be having matte black vinyl side stripes.

Was bummed when I was buffing the wax off and realized we're supposed to get frost overnight and the car sits outside. All that work and it'll be dirty tomorrow. :\

        Very shiny!

And like I said on Facebook, my car is waiting Brian.

All joking aside though, great job on the car!

But seriously, come wash and wax my car

Thank you sir! It's pretty surprising how much attention these cars still draw, even after being 3 years old. I went to fill up at the gas station yesterday and had two people come up to me while I was pumping gas asking me about the car. One guy wanted to know how much I liked it, the other guy was kinda funny - he wanted to know how I financed it because he's looking at buying a Challenger... Not sure how it's an applicable apples to apples comparison, but alright!

More changes today - finally added hood spears to break up the hood... Not super happy with the place I got them from, it turns out they are generic decals that are like 5" longer and you cut to the length you want. It doesn't 100% follow the lines of the hood, it's basically just a stretched out triangle... But, it'll do for what I wanted to accomplish - breaks up all the red in the hood and it was cheap.

I also finally installed my parents' Christmas gift - the rear taillight panel blackout. It actually came out pretty good - to me it kinda looks like the side stripes wrap around to the rear tailpanel now.

                    And here it is:

                          • Thanks guys! It just needed something more - from the front of the car you couldn't see the side stripes, aside from the blacked out bowtie it looked boring. The stripes just spice it up very slightly.

                            • Looks fantastic B! The tail pannel looks awesome, and the hood stripes really help you actually see the hood on these cars. It looks like it has an aftermarket hood on it.
