So you changed fluid with 5,000 miles?

Was this a "just cuz" situation?

I'd say he broke it in with conventional, switched to synthetic

A lot of people with 10-11 v6 m6s had issues with grinding when trying to shift into 2nd or 3rd. I've only had an issue a few times when I don't hit the gate right. But the Royal Purple is supposed to make it a lot smoother and shift better. For the differential, I didn't take pics but it was naaaaaasty. The magnetic plug was all sorts of gunked up.

Nothing quite like the smell of ollllld diff fluid. Good idea to change it now Brian! I had to walk away when I popped the diff cover off my car with 74k miles.

                        That's an understatement...yuck.

It's always pleasant since it comes out disgusting black/gray/brown - and goes in clear.

supercharger oil is bad. open up the garage and spray paint something and then leave it and the spray paint will diminish the scent of the nasty diff fluid

I agree that the tint makes the car look better, but I'm not liking the rear side window darker than the fronts.

You're gonna love the Weather Tech mats, I know I do in our DD's really saves the carpet............Overall Looking good B!!!

Thanks Scott! I know - whenever I look at the pictures, it sticks out to me like a sore thumb... but in person I never notice it. Already love the WeatherTech mats -- I had them on my 2008 Trailblazer for the two years I owned it and they were awesome. I wish I would have yanked them off so I could have sold them
