This is a perfect example of the market on 4th gens right now and proof that you never get back from a car what you have into it. I assume hes taking a big loss on all the work/time he has into "Epic" for selling it at $6500...

Best of luck Grant, sure looks good in those pictures tho!

                Wow Darren,
I had no idea the market dropped so badly. I was just looking through Autotrader last week though, and saw some clean 4th gen's for 9,000 +. Must be because they are dealership cars?

Dealerships always ask a premium we saw some of those a few weeks back in the craigslist thread where a base v6 f-body with low(er) miles was still asking $10k...but if you look at private sales and so on you can really see. LS1 cars still demand some coin but even some of those are dropping into the $6-7k range, LT1 cars can be had for dirt cheap these days, I saw one on CL running driving for $2k...

Yes I'm taking a hit. Partially just cause I want it gone. I can't even go off Bluebook on it because it's so custom now. I figure at $6500 I'll get some interest but the market blows right now so who knows.

The body looks like it's in such great condition too. Wish my car's paint looked that good.

Its actually worse than it looks. Most of the ground effects are vinyl to repair the failing paint. The body is straight but the front fenders and nose fit like shit since is not OEM. In my opinion its worth every bit of 6500.... But not much more than that.
