I should re-phrase that. I have no problem with something like a 30 roll, and will often do that myself (even tho I prefer a dig). But when you call someone out and say "lets go to the highway and race from 70-150", that is retarted.

Youre right, 70 mph is no more exciting than a 30 roll considering the cars doing it are usually modded lambos, ferraris, and vipers / Z06s at a miniumum.

or even a 50 roll is just about as bad. My policy is nothing higher than a first gear roll. 50 roll is just lame IMO, not much fun at all.

Just cause you don't like it or agree with it doens't mean you have to bash on it and think its the wrong way to do things. I like digs because I wanna see if I can get off the line quicker than the other person but I also like rolls cause its a true test of overall hp. Different strokes for different folks.

People are not limiting themselves to quarter miles anymore. The standing mile is becoming more and more popular and while it does require a good holeshot it also requires a lot more.

I'm with Detoxx. I love quarter miles as much as the next guy but I like playing the game by other rules too.

Also, CMR from gr to Chicago had some 200+ runs, that's racing.
