A little over 3 years ago when my brother formula(automatic as well) was heads/cam/fast 90/92 with TD's that exactly how it sounded. But now it's a different beast with it's new setup that he has had for a year and a half now. But the MS4 and Ported 243's it put down 418rwhp on a mustang dyno. Was a fun setup.

This one has stage 1 243's (dunno what company) and the MS4, crappy bbk intake. Supposedly it put down 400.

      Used to own a Firebird.

Sounds like it's a fun car as it sits. Also your future plans that you are looking to do ran my Brother $30k-35k. Though he went with more cubes. I'm sure it would cost a whole hell of a lot less if you did the work yourself. He kind of wished he would have saved some money by going with the large cubes and a F1.

bump for my dad in case he's looking.

He got an excessive noise ticket today and supposedly third gear went out. Says it feels like it's losing pressure or something, just revs and hits the limiter. I'm thinking maybe a solenoid?
