Alright, not many of you know this, but since my family has a lot of cars, I decided to take one of them and start fixing it up to be my winter beater this year and save the Camaro from another harsh season. The vehicle I chose is the 1964 Ford F250 that my dad traded for my first car, the 1973 Mustang Grande 351C. I got started with the planning stages about 2 weeks ago, and to solidify my desire to fix this car, I bought a set of stock 2006 8 lug Chevy 2500 series truck wheels, mounted the tires, and put them on my truck. Since this truck is going to be moving all of our stuff to the new house, I decided that a show-quality paintjob is a little much, so my plan is to use only spray cans for the base coat. The paint scheme will be Black with Silver accents, like the Bumpers, pinstriping, "FORD" letters on the tailgate, maybe some stripes or graphics of some sort, you get the idea. A few years back, the previous owner had the beat up straight six replaced with a built 390 BBF from a 69 Galaxy 500 (I think. . .), and it has about 69,000 miles on the clock. Could be 169,000, IDK, the odometer only has 5 digits. . . lol This truck is huge, drives like a tank, and has a hauling capacity much greater than that of my Camaro. Here is the only pic I found on my laptop, it's an old one. . . I'll take more as the bodywork progresses.
