my second time out the bottom, learnd a lesson, never be cool and try hide the wires from the top, what a ***** getting them unhooked and out for the electrical, never do that agian.sigpic

6 yrs ago i did it when i did the v6 to v8 engine swap, that was with a guy that new what he was doin, this is my first time bymyself with to friends that helped that haddnt done it, soooo had a couple tangles no biggie, but i tried to be cool and hide all the wires and found out that wasnt cool, had them run under the block in places i couldnt get them out. ill never do that agian.sigpic

well, got the motor apart and found out today that it was 1 to 2 starts from clatter effect, 5 valves almost droped, the spring retainers clips were pushing thrue the spring retainers, basicly it pops thrue and spring shoots up and valve drops into cylinder, kapow, so even tho bearings dont look bad we are going new rings bearings seals valves redone, and reasimble, dont have alot of time left, it going to be in autorama this year with all the new mods at cobo, first time for it.sigpic
