I wish I would have known you would be in Manty! My parents live there and I always visit them on the weekends! Plus Manitowoc is the home of all my toys, we could have shown you the town! haha.

Here are some pics of my cruise on the Badger SS (Superfest 2006)

Derek that would've been awesome, I'd love to see the TA project you have going on right now.

As it was though, we only had about an hour on land in Manitowoc, so it was rush rush to finish the car deal, get a quick lunch, and get back to the ship. We'd like to go back sometime it looked like a cool town from we saw.

Looks like you drove the Camaro on yourself too!?!?! "Last one on, first one off....that is if you don't mind backing up for an 1/8 mile!!"

Ah, I see, maybe next time! The Badger is a great experience, you have to do it again! I would do the Badger over the Lake Express, even if the Lake Express saves you about 1.5 to 2hours the Badger is still the way to go.

I will have to admit, the TA project is at my house in Clintonville but I would have love to show you the other toys!

I have always driven my car on myself, especially with the badger being a coal fired ship, I am afraid that the drivers would track coal dust on the white seats, uggg. Yes, last one on, first one off! that is the way to go!

Yeah we're definately doing it again.....We're thinking about the same time next year, and doing a cruise thru Door County.

I agree about the Badger vs the Lake Express, not only is it a neat piece of history, but it'a also a lot more capable boat in rough water. I've heard they shut the Lake Express down if there's 4-5ft waves.........We had friends who went over with us on Saturday and stayed til Sunday. I guess their ride back was a little rough with 5-6 footers, but overall their only complaint was the amount of people on board due to it being the last run of the season.

I'll have to let you know when we plan our next trip over, it'd be great to check out your collection.

I'm tellin' ya - every time I look at Scott's album or hear about a new car purchase I realize I'm totally not in the right career path.
