Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
My Home town of Two Rivers has a small Chevy dealer, when ever I get a chance, I always drive by to see if they received any new Camaros. Well, this time I hit the jackpot, A 1SS IOM and a 2SS Yellow. I decided to get my 30th LT4 and park it next to them for a mini photo shoot/get together. ha

Although I think I'd take your car over either one of those...

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.

I agree, future value that LT4 FTW.
Its interesting to see 5th gens popping up at many of the smaller dealerships now. The two small ones near me have had more and more of them lately, maybe the buzz is starting to die down. Looks like one of those two is already sold though.

I think (if my counting is correct) this dealer has had four 5th gens, two of them were IOM SS (2SS,1SS) both the IOMs sold within in days of taking delivery. My bet is the Yellow one is sold by now too. These photos were taken on 9/6.
I think you are right, all the buyers who were 100% sure of buying one have done so, the other buyers are still thinking about it therefore the large quantities of 5th gens on the lot now.

Very cool! Angie told me the other day they had a 5th gen on their lot for a whole TEN MINUTES before it was sold - fastest time it took to ever have a car sold from unloading it off the truck to writing up the paperwork. And mind you - when it was delivered it was not a sold vehicle, it just so happened someone was there while it was being unloaded and bought it immediately.

Cool pics, Derek.
I think they are still selling very quickly around here. Berger can't keep them on the lot for more than a day or two. The ones I've seen that have them sitting around are usually at dealerships in small towns that don't sell a large volume of cars, anyway.
Of course, I don't have any hard data to back that up, it's just an observation on my part......

I would concur...seems to be about a 2 day turnover for dealers here...

Haha, I agree too! If I had to choose between my 60K mile LT4 and a new 5th Gen, I would stick with my LT4. Now, if I could keep my LT4 and get a 5th, then I would be game.
I drove past a Chevy dealer in Manitowoc and they have three (3) 2SS on the lot, one of the 2SS has been there for almost two months!!! No kidding!
