Here are a few more after I got my first set of chrome rims when I turned 17. For the old timers here, the rims were Fenton's, a company that made a nice Cragar SS copy.

What wheels were on it in the pics of it being washed?

Almost look like a derivation of Westerns...but the center cap is throwing me...

Good question, no one has asked that. If you think real hard, I am not positive of the year, but I think those wheels came on Monte Carlos in 1975, that is the symbol on the center cap.

Here are a few more shots, but with actual Cragar's in the typical big and littles when I was 18. And of course the infamous air shocks...lol.

Great old pics, Greg. What happened to the L-88 Hood? Was it a 'glass hood, or a scoop molded onto the stock hood? I always loved L-88 hoods on 2nd Gens. I even considered one for mine at one point .......

The L-88 is a cool hood, but it was molded into the stock steel hood. Here is a shot where I tried out a snorkle style scoop molded into a different stock steel hood. Then a year after that I tried out this sweet tunnel ram set up without any hood at all for a year.

The '69 was my brother's Camaro that he bought while stationed in Florida. He later sold it to my sister. It was a 250 straight six with a 'glide. Also had a complete houndstooth interior.

Well, I'm not sure on the condition, but I heard from a very reliable source that it is owned by a guy in Hudsonville, and sits under a cover in his garage. It was repainted a dark blue, but that is all I know. Says it hasn't been driven in years. Apparently somewhere near Gemmen's. I may look further into this later this summer.

Not really, it is the car in my avatar. The '69 is long gone, but the '71 is my current ride.
