Here are a few more after I got my first set of chrome rims when I turned 17. For the old timers here, the rims were Fenton's, a company that made a nice Cragar SS copy.

Very, very cool.
Fentons...wow, haven't heard that name in years...
What wheels were on it in the pics of it being washed?
Almost look like a derivation of Westerns...but the center cap is throwing me...Originally posted by Redd8407I WANT NOISE! SPEED! AN ENGINE THAT SHAKES MY INTERNAL ORGANS LIKE THEY GOT PARKINSON'S! It annoys me more then anything.

Good question, no one has asked that. If you think real hard, I am not positive of the year, but I think those wheels came on Monte Carlos in 1975, that is the symbol on the center cap.
Here are a few more shots, but with actual Cragar's in the typical big and littles when I was 18. And of course the infamous air shocks...lol.

Great old pics, Greg. What happened to the L-88 Hood? Was it a 'glass hood, or a scoop molded onto the stock hood? I always loved L-88 hoods on 2nd Gens. I even considered one for mine at one point .......RIP Doug,You will always be remembered

Well, I'm not sure on the condition, but I heard from a very reliable source that it is owned by a guy in Hudsonville, and sits under a cover in his garage. It was repainted a dark blue, but that is all I know. Says it hasn't been driven in years. Apparently somewhere near Gemmen's. I may look further into this later this summer.Originally posted by WMCC Doug View PostCool! I'll betcha still wish that one was still around ..and still in that condition.
