  • 6 years ago this weekend...

Red Alert fell into the hands of a new owner. I was looking for my first car and it was down to a black 2000+ Trans Am or a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro. The Trans Am was going to be a lot more insurance, had a lot more miles, and was a lot more money. The Camaro was better on insurance, being a v6, was privately owned (The Trans Am was at a dealership that was closed), very low mileage, and was cheaper.

yea, its probably 2 seconds slower in the 1/4

JK brian, lots of good work done on that beaut. Itll probably have it all in another 6 years.

No... actually I'm really happy with the Camaro. The Trans Am would've been nice because obviously it has the LS1 and it's a Trans Am, but I wouldn't have been able to customize it like I have the Camaro. Then again, maybe I would've done more engine mods instead. I'm happy with the decision, though. The TA had over 100k on the clock, so if I drove the TA as much as the Camaro, it'd have 166k on it.

Haha, I won't even argue with you there. It probably is two seconds slower. Between the subwoofer box, added weight with the hood and spoiler, and the engine just being older it probably is slower.

                      Wow.

Six years has truly made a difference.

Some people will customize their cars quite a bit, but you have one-upped so many people. That car is truly YOURS.

Such an amazing amount of effort - such a great outcome.

Now get that V8 in there!

haha oh trust me, within the next two years that's the plan. As much as Angie might not like hearing it, I'd like to have an LS1 in there before I get married.
