yeah, guy at the auto repair shop asks you why you put e85 in your car all of the sudden

brian i just bought the same locker at murrays monday. think my cap got stolen friday at Woodward, or lost it in my scramble when i found my gas credit card and normal credit card missing at the pump that day! luckily i called my mom and she found em in my room but i got panicked.

yea same with v6s my 99 is plastic while my bros 97 is metal im pretty sure. I always thought fbody tanks were crazy hard to siphon. Guess i may look into a locking cap then. Although my alarm goes off when someone opens the gas door so that should draw attention in daylight which is the only time my car is out.
if they try to cut my cat well they are morons because not only will it be hard to get under my car but when they do they will find a pathetic excuse for a cat that is considered a high flow cat (basically a bigger pipe lol)

if you guys are going to use them DO NOT i repeat DO NOT! use them in winter and keep them clean as shit in summer too. I got one for my wrangler b/c i figured i dont even have a lid over my cap (just the cap in a recessed hole) its even easier for some one to unscrew the cap.

long story short winter lock froze and couldnt get it off had to use drill, not fun. and my new jeep came w/ one from the last owner and i went to get gas on the way home from getting it and it was a pain in the ass to turn the key b/c dirt got in it.

I dont recommend them to anyone and i hate them but if your going to use them keep them clean and dont use them in winter

I locked my car and walked into the gas station one time and prepaid then walked out opened the door not thinking and got a few weird looks from everyone around as my alarm went off lol. maybe the sensor on that side is just real touchy?

I didn't even think they put sensors there...

                      That's awesome.

it probably goes off from the vibrations of the gas door opening. those vibration sensors are crazy... my car alarm has gone off before from wind.

That's the factory alarm? I didn't think the factory GM system had a vibe sensor - just a door open sensor and a sentry key system. The reason I thought this is that someone once hit my parked, locked, alarm-enabled car, and the alarm didn't go off.

Is that an aftermarket alarm system?

Your shock sensor is probably adjusted way low. It's actually quite funny when we're out at Woodward because a car with a loud exhaust will go by and a lot of the stock fbodies' arlarms will chirp twice.
