yup, Iv'e got one and I love that little bit of added security, Given if they were determind they could rip it off, but it would require a lot of force.

well it works for everyone that drives their car only in the summer, but in the winter those things freeze up somethin fierce. I remember trying to thaw mine out in the dead of winter. They are nice but just not in the winter.

I was really thinking about getting one but I'm always unsure of what one to get. There are like 5 styles are the parts store and no applications for any of them listed.

                    I bought it at Murrays.

And I would really hope someone wouldn't try drilling through our gas tanks... isn't it a metal tank? That'd be damned stupid to drill through metal.

I just went in, told them the car, and they looked it up and got it for me.

Some tanks are plastic and some are metal. Gasoline itself is not combustible, the vapors are combustible. You don't nessacarily have to drill a hole in gas tank, you can simply use and awl/punch/screwdrivier very easily to make a drain.

I am not sure about F-bodies but most new cars have a check valve incase the vehicle flips over, gas doesn't poor out as fast.

True, but then again you have to be pretty stupid to steal in the first place. (And yes there are people stealing gas this way). We filed our first catalytic converter theft today. The thief sawed a customers converted off in a factory parking lot in the middle of the day.(Customer went into work at 8am and at lunch went to leave to the sound of open exhaust) The car was a Grand Am, so even cars with a lower stance aren't safe from these idiots.

Good luck getting to my tank - it's a ***** to get out, let alone see.

                              Most F-bodies are that way.

Also, have fun trying to get under there without a jack.

I think I might go buy one of those caps...
