he guy said the car was red. Not sure what color stripes.
Yeah, it needs some TLC for sure.

I like the car a lot, The guy even had the pedals to make it a stick car.
It didnt have a center council....So it might have been a manual car to begin with.
Its for sure going to be a fun car. And worth a lot when its done.

The guy bought the car back in 1977 and used it for drag racing.
So he could have swapped trannys for that reason.

Hes got a Hurst line lock for the brakes and everything.

It did come with the manual pedals..so I have no clue at all. We havent takin out the carpet yet to see the hole in the center.
Right now its got a Hurst ratchet shifter in it.

DAMIT, I wanted to be there when they tried to start it.

It say for a long time so we put PB blaster in each of the spark plug holes and let it sit over night. We didnt want to take any chances.

It's even nicer in person. When I asked him how much he just had a huge ass grin on his face. Wish I could of heard it, they must of got it running just after I left.

The SS bumper pad is glued on. No holes are drilled.

Another note, not all SS Chevelles had stripes.

I wish my chevelle was painted

Yeah the rear pad glues on.

Also found over 25 time slips in the glove box. All from Central Michigan dragstrip...now Milan dragway.
                            All around 12.3 - 12.7.
Got it running but it was running really hot. Took the thermostat out and it was stuck closed.
Yeah she gets up and goes really quick.
