lt1? callaway camaro?

Anybody else have a firsthand opinion of this car? Is it truly rusted out? Is the interior truly awful? Any info would be cool to hear.

I've seen it 3 times so far, and no, it didn't appear to be rusted out.

Just neglected.

It's always dirty and it's always parked outside some bar or party store.

Next time I see it I'll leave a note on the windshield.

I've heard through the grapevine that the owner might be willing to sell it. I'm not saying I'm interested in it, but I'm intrigued. The condition reports have been nothing but bad so far though, and from pics, it looks like it has been in a slight wreck. If it is really a 17,000 mile car, it might be worth looking at though.

I was told it has the SuperNatural 400 engine, but this hasn't been confirmed either.

I don't like the idea of a car that has been sitting outside year-round though. Callaway or not. I'm not a car collector with a lot of money to throw around or something. Just a guy who wants a Callaway Camaro in good condition. The '95 Z28 in my sig is my sisters, and the '02 SS is my mom's. Time for me to get what I want... maybe... And what I want is a Callaway that doesn't need a lot of work on it.

One other thing... can someone verify whether this car has Brembo brakes or not? It has some sort of cross drilled rotors on the front, but I can't read the caliper in any of the pics. Don't know if the rear brakes are stock or Brembo either.

I'll look and take pictures tomorrow, Brandon. As of today, it was located at the restaraunt that I normally go to lunch at every day. I did notice the woodgrain door lock bezels and the woodgrain shifter panel. I also stand corrected, the mileage on the vehicle is (IIRC) 102,000 and some change. I also noticed the shifter panel does in fact have a "SuperNatural" plaque on it. The front bumper lines up HORRIBLY with the hood and fenders. I'm taking my camera with me to work tomorrow so as long as the car is still at Shields tomorrow I'll take pictures.

hey brandon. im at shields right now. it has brembos. i also left my card with Shield's manager to give the callaway's owner. he said he probably wont come in when he comes to pick it up but if he does he will hand it off.

Haha, just kidding. In all honesty, it's not a problem. It just so happened that the restaraunt we go to EVERY SINGLE DAY during the week had it parked right out front yesterday and today. I'm also a camera whore, so the chance to use my camera and take pictures was too irresistable.

Still nothing? These Callaway Camaros sure are hard to track down. I just heard about one within about 50 miles of me, and I've never seen or heard of it. Then again, it's a stock Camaro bodied one with just the 435 hp engine.... but still!
