Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!
If you have any problems with the registration process or your account login, please contact us!
For those who don't know....I know a lot of you do.
It's a 1969 Pontiac Firebird.
The guy he got it from just had it painted....but did not do a very good job.
Bryan is going to make it a Trans Am clone. White with the blue stripes.
Then redo the interior also.
But its got a built 455, tranny's been built, 3.73 posi rear end. Sub frame connectors, traction bars, weld rims.
Yeah its a really nice car, and Very solid.
This goes with his 89 GTA Trans Am, My Nephews 72 Formula, and My 87 Trans am.
Its all about the Pontiacs people!!!
Trans Am Clone? That'll be nice. I saw two originals last year at Woodward Cruise.

LOL....come on over and park in the driveway....we will see if it makes a difference.
No...no, it won't...lol...
Great looking car!
Got any interior pics?
Does he want to sell it?

I think it is because I take it in and out all the time, the rubber has just stretched out, especially at the bottom where it is really thin. It annoys me more then anything.
No he doesn't want to sell it LOL!!! I can get some interior pics if you want. Hes changing the whole interior though. Plus like I said he wants the taller seats in it. Its black right now. New carpet, but they didnt fit it all that well. They welded a new GM quarter on the passanger side. and there is already a bubble in the paint. So whoever did the welding and the body work.....didn't do it right.
I don't think it will be at the meet and greet though. I wish it could. But we have to swap the 455 in my nephews Formula. And we have to paint my car yet also.
Thanks for the compliments though. He traded for a 2003 Monte Carlo SS.
One he bought at the auction. Better to trade for a car thats going to go down in value for a car thats only going to go up in value. I'm really happy with it. I like it a lot!
You've been misinformed. I had the pleasure to tour the Norwood assembly plant in Ohio a couple of times before they shut it down in 1987. My suspicions were confirmed. When they hired a new employee, they let them practice putting Firebirds together, and once they got it right, then they were allowed to build Camaros.
yeah he knows, I bought us all T shirts and all last year. Hes just not a computer person at all.
He looks up cars at auctions, and thats about it. Even my 16 y/o nephew with the 72 formula hasn't even signed up yet.
I'm just happy to be apart of working on all these cars. After there all done you can sit back and say.....yeah we did that.
Its just a good feeling.
I think I'll be starting on my car in a week or so.
It will be fun to start sanding and taking things apart.
