Probably the guy that is like .2mi south of bull frogs. He's had those 'vettes for years now.Originally posted by TSTONE View Postcool project keep us posted
fyi - some guy at the south end of ortonville had 2 red c3's parked in 15 yesterday for sale
I'll be sure to keep the thread updated as I work on the car. Right now I'm just doing small stuff because most of my time is spent working on projects that are all due with in the next few weeks. I then have the whole month of May to work on the car until school starts again in early June. The car is also going in to the body shop in the next week so I can't tear it down to much.2005 Yamaha R6

You seem to mention a lot about Ortonville and Clarkston on here a lot. You mind me asking where exactly you live? I cruise around Goodrich, Ortonville, Davison, Clarkston all the time in the summer and have never seen you around.Originally posted by TSTONE View Postyep - if i remember correctly he was right next to the pet cemetary2005 Yamaha R6

Nice project, looks like you have a really solid base to work from which is a huge plus. All Corvette's should be red!!!

I grew up in downtown Clarkston on Park lake - I now live in Springfield/Clarkston at Dixie & Davisburg. I don't go north much with the car - it's made a couple trips to the Davison CC for Sunday night dinner. Otherwise when i'm out cruising i'll typically cut across Grange from Dixie to 15 then head back down.Originally posted by ITSSLOW View PostYou seem to mention a lot about Ortonville and Clarkston on here a lot. It's been really hectic with projects and everything lately so I haven't done much. Will be getting a lot more done after next week when everything is turned in.
I tore off the ghetto exhaust that is under the car off up to the manifolds.

Talk about HIGH FLOW exhaust!

Whoever did the exhaust dented it to clear the mono leaf rear suspension.
Last weekend we drove to Saginaw and picked up a block from Dan (mcg355). Great deal on the block and Dan and his dad were really nice. Rob is getting the block dipped and cam bearings pressed in.

Dropped the car off yesterday at the body shop for new door hinge pins and bumper replacement. Can't do anything until the car gets back because we are using some of the original engine to build the new one.2005 Yamaha R6

'cept Robby isn't broke. That's the whole reason he's restoring a C3 at 20 years old. Up until now, he's just put enough money in to the car to keep it running. The exhaust was done by the original owner.Originally posted by TSTONE View Postman that exhaust brings back alot of memories of being young and broke2005 Yamaha R6
