You mean 1LE, right?Originally posted by DanO View PostYou drive it on the street... the rod-ends are not very... umm comfortable
I dont like poly either due to binding.
Best performance is the rod-ends
Best comfort is stock rubber (the 4th gen LE1 cars had thicker rubber than standard.. which i would reccomend.. but your 3rd gen)
I have the rod ends on my car and its not bad.. but they will wear out quickly with standard street use.. i'd bet you'd only see maybe 10k miles with a set of rod ends before they start clunking more than you can stand.
Oh.. and mine have NOT come loose yet.. so thats not a big problem.Nick H.

Adjustable LCA with bushings
BMR make a set of adjustable chro-mo LCA's with poly bushings on both ends, You can also order them with a softer poly bushing on just one end to take out a bit of the road noise, Have a set on my 2000 SS and think there great. Also if you get LCA brackets would advise weld-in style. a lot of stress for the bolt on type.

im buying a set of BMR non-adjustables from john this weekend hopefully. Im eager to see how my car reacts to them. My rear end bucks pretty bad when I catch 2nd WOT. first gear it stays planted perfect though.-Joel

adjustables give a very harsh ride for street driving but are the best in the twisty's. So if its a autocross only car so with adjustables. Non adjustable's dont swivel when pitching car into corners so will act about the same as stockers in the corners but will reduce or eliminate wheelhop on the launch when most are worried about it anyway.00 ws6 vert a4 ( mods in garage )
