Take the old and new stuff to NAPA and for $28 they'll swap them over. That's what I did and it was the best money I've spent. I could have wasted hours trying to do it myself.

for sure i do that everytime now too... almost last a hand to a spring compressor... and it can sometimes take a good amount of time... take it to the guys with the expensive tools for the job and get a warranty with it...
