Looks like the swaybar end links to me. They are like $6 at Advance for 1 whole assembly. Includes the bolt, washers, nut and bushings. You can even get the poly bushing ones for the same price.

I just bought some for the 99 and put them on last year. Your car will handle a lot better.

Oh, d'oh. I thought you were circling the metal piece that comes down. Yeah, the endlinks are what rusted through on me. I went to do a front brake job and the passenger side wasn't bolted down at all. I went and checked the driver's side and the top of the bolt was still there, but then when I went to unbolt it, I had the nice surprise of finding that the bolt was rusted into position on top, but when I took it out 75% of the bolt was missing, so it wasn't doing anything lol. It had rusted straight through and the bottom 75% of the bolt had fallen off.

i dont know if you have done this or not yet but the best way to get those damn end links off is with a freaking torch. but you only have one to get off. shouldn't be to bad.

Oh and i have seen a sway bar broke on my friends 98 GT right in half thats the only one i have seen.

1995 TA Sold. i sure do miss it though.

yea...I only bought 3 to see how it would go..going to buy the 4th one next week when I get paid and going to replace that one to so I can have 4 brand new ones on..the other will def. be harder..oh yea 4got to say in previous post..there was one in the rear left..but it was just dangling kinda so thats how it broke so easily..the rear right one is still in tact and going to have to try and get that one out.
