That is exactly what I was thinking.

At first I was thinking, how the heck did he break a sway bar.
I have seen a car that had all 4 coils busted, and the end links ripped apart, but the sway bar was still good.

So I was like 8-O when he said he broke his stabalizer (sway) bar.

I broke my swaybar when I had that accident in November.

The endlinks the bolt rusts right through, I had that happen on mine when I went to do a brake job and found the swaybar wasn't bolted down at all.

                  But yeah, not sure

You actually broke the sway bar itself.
I know at least on the 3rd gens that the v6 bars are not as think as the v8 ones usually, but how thin was yours.

I would expect the whole darn thing would be ripped from its mounts before it actually broke.

Sean can speak for me on this one, but I believe I cracked the endlink, maybe the whole swaybar? Not too sure. I never saw it. But yeah, I cracked her enough that it needed to be replaced. Now I got an SLP swaybar from Matt.
