Im looking to pick up a new set of rims for my WS.6. Gonna go with a nice dish rim. Chrome. Problem im having now..i have 17"s up front and 18"s in the rear. Im gonna go with one size..due to it being easier and cheaper. The cars got a drop on it already..and can be adjusted. So would you go 18"s all around or 17"s??

Just curious, why 17 on the 3rd and 18 on the 4th?Originally posted by tenpin842I have 17's on my 3rd gen. 4th gens need 18's
Wouldn't you just put 18 on both, or does 18 look too over the top on 3rds?Currently Owned F-Bodies

"I" think 18's are a little too much on a 3rd gen. 17"s on a third gen I think sit just right. Plus Im going to lower my car in the spring (already have the Sportline springs).Originally posted by ezyskJust curious, why 17 on the 3rd and 18 on the 4th?

But 18's just show too much rim for me. When I bought my rims, I had them bring in 17's and 18's. And Maybe its just my rim....But I choose the 17" ones.sigpic

I totally agree I wouldn't go any bigger than 17s on a 3rd gen, and ten pin that is a awesome 3rd gen!!Originally posted by tenpin842"I" think 18's are a little too much on a 3rd gen. 17"s on a third gen I think sit just right. Those rims look good Gary, like I said I dont want to offend anyone. Its just my opinion about the rims I bought. I had the 18's and the 17's on my car when I decided on the 17's. That was "my" opinion. Sorry I didn't want to offend and 3rd gen ppl with 18's!!
