I think James has got me sold on the Toyo's; I can get them shipped for $803; they have a treadwear rating of 280; the Kumho Mx's shipped are $774 with a rating of 220.

I better go with the Toyo's since I'm going out with his sister.
It's going to piss him off though when Tina smokes him with the tires that he referred us to...

Thanks to everyone for your help...

Greg; that is one awesome group of cars you own; can't wait to see them this summer. Did you do the Powertour in '05 from Milwaukee to Florida? If so I probably saw your car then. There are so many awesome cars on the 'tour...

You will like the Toyo's. Sticky tire with a good tread wear rating and an awesome looking tread design.

As for smoking me.....dream on buddy.

He-He; was hoping to get a rise out of you James; remember she's got an auto and won't be missing any shifts like her little bro....

Her shift cable was broke on the Grand Prix; she's getting it fixed today.

I just wish they had a slightly stiffer sidewall. They grip way better than the stock Goodyear F1's did and they're slightly wider even though they're still 275's.
Nah im not on crack lol, I seen a set of those tires on a grand prix with 20's and the tread seriousley only lasted 3 months

20's on a GP that was probably lowered WAY too much and the alignment was off and tore them up. Had mine on since May and did numerous smokey burnouts and you can't see any noticeable wear yet!

yeah i also see the toyos every time i look at a car that some retard put giant ass rims on his car and had no idea what he was doing. ive already put 15,000 miles on my GS-D3's and i have half life left. if you really want a far superior tire that is the best rain/wet tire on the road, that also happens to be one of the best dry performance tires on the road, and has been awarded countless awards-go with the goodyear. oherwise go with the toyo cuz its 'hip'er. i can take 90 degree corners at 45mph without even squeeking the tires. i even get comments from my buddies about how sick the tires on my car look

Back to the Kumhos though, I bought a set back in August and they wear evenly and ride pretty nice, the mechanics they do the maintenance on my car was surprised. They also provide decent wet traction in rain (don't know about snow, knock on wood). They are pretty good tires despite their cheap prices. I paid $50 a tire plus mounting and balancing and I thought they're a steal! I would recommend them just for the value.

this is a good topic, because Im also looking for tires. if they made the g-force T/A kdw-2 in my size, thats what Id be getting. they only go up to a 255, and Im currently running 275s and i like it. ill probably just go with whats on there now the bfg kdws.

Mike...go KDW or KD's. KDWS don't have as good of dry grip of the other 2. If those new Goodyears are that cheap I'd go for those. From what I've read people like them better than the BFG KDW's.

someone just threw the cheap khumo's on my car not much tread left, but i guess burnouts like on the left don't help too much though
