The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. This is exactly what I've been looking to do. I have a set of two 9.5s and two 11s, I want another set to make a complete set of 9.5s and one of 11s. Fitting them is a bit easier on a Firebird but if you run a 54mm offset you can just run a spacer up front and still be able to rotate the tires. Should hammer the bracket out of the way above the fender liner but other than that there shouldn't be any rubbing.
Sounds about right, I had read someplace else too that firebirds could fit a little wider up front.
Mine are 54mm with a 10mm spacer, so it sounds like you hit the nail on the head. Do it! I think it looks BA when I'm turning and you see huge ass tires all around.

I'm just trying to find a cheap set. I'll be putting A6s on the 11s and the cheapest 275s on the 9.5s. I just need something to get it to the track and not be upset when the -3 degrees of camber destroys them on the way there.
the car made it from Lansing to WW and back without any issues at all. tires only rubbed once when i hit a big dip in the highway. other than that it ran flawlessly!

I have 275s up front on a 9.5 in rim and don't have any rubbing or anything, had to run spacers in the back on the 295s and 10.5 in rims to clear the bump stop tho lol
hmm that's strange, i don't have any rubbing at all in the back and i'm not running any spacer back there at all.
on a 10.5 in rim and 295's? because with the spring fully extended it was touching, with the car on the ground its not even close, ive always ran spacers in the back anyway to get the right alignment I want, I feel like the dished wheels sink in a little to far without a spacer
i had 10.5 torque thrusts with 315 sumatumos(narrow for a 315) and now 11 zr1s with 315 nittos and i haven't ran spacers in the rear with either. i thought about putting a small spacer in the back with the 11s but i think it might hit the fender edge when i hit bumps.
on my front fenders i can see lines on the paint that make it look like the car had some kind of small flair on the fenders. you can kinda see there there was adhesive on it the entire length of the wheel arch. i've always wondered what was on it because i've never seen a F-body with any kind of flairs on it. and if i'm fitting 315s with no mods in the front, what the heck was it on before?
