  • HELP - Fender Rub

Ok, as mentioned above I have some fender rub. I have lowered the car with BMR lowering springs (1.25") replaced the stock shocks with KYB gas struts, Founders Performance Lower Control Arms, Relocation Brackets, and on car Adjustable Pan Hard Bar. The rear end is centered. I have replaced the stock bump stops with polyurethane bump stops and still get fender rub. It's on both sides, so I know the rear is aligned. I would like to avoid fender rolling, but am running out of ideas. I am running 275/35/18 BFGoodrich's on the rear. They catching the inside of the rear fenders when going over rolling bumps in the road. (i.e. bridges on the high way and changes in pavement) Any suggestions that would be greatly appreciated. I am including some pictures of what we are looking at. Don't mind the scrape on the drivers rear fender. My wife swiped it coming into the garage.

Roll the lip, put the 17" jounce spacers or get more offset wheels

Well it looks like fender rolling it is! I'll work on that next weekend when I pick my new hood up. Any "how to's" on fender rolling?

It isn't too bad once you get it setup correctly. Make sure you use a heat gun and warm the paint thoroughly.....otherwise you'll crack the paint. Take your time and you should have it done in an hour or so.

+1 on this... Just use more heat than you think you need!
