Spohn Torque Arm Install - Any tips or things I should know?

    My torque arm said to put the dial on the driveshaft record angle, then put it on the pinon and record angle. Subtract the two and that gives you pinon angle.


    For the OP, I had to grind the powder coat off my arm to get it to fit on the S60.

      I'd shoot for -1.5 to -2.5* of drive line angle.

      If it's off it'll vibrate

        Yeah I understand taking the measurement from the driveshaft and then the measurement from the torque arm bracket and subtracting the two. Looks like -2 is what I need to shoot for.

          You can also simply put the angle finder on the pig with the stock torque arm and set it to that angle, then adjust from there.

            This is how to measure pinion angle, but, you must make sure the car is on a flat surface. First thing I would do if you are using this methos is stick the angle finder on the frame rails and check the angle on each side of the car.
