My '94 Camaro and '93 Formula both had broken sway links when I bought them, but they didn't make any clunking noises. . . Sounds more like ball joints or control arm bushings to me, but I could be wrong.Originally posted by BP_Z28 View PostYou can easily look under the car and see if its the end links, mine were broke on my 94 Camaro when I bought them
Does the car drive straight? Pull to one side? Steering geometry seem to change at all while driving?Nick H.

Jack up on wheel at a time. check sway bar links. If they are ok the try to wiggle each side front wheel. wiggle in and out with hands at 9 and 3 oclock if play probably tie rod ends, wiggle up and down 12 and 6 oclock position if that wiggles then wheel bearing or ball joints.sigpic

Grab the sway bar end links and make sure they are tight. Inspect the control arm bushings and shake the front end down like Larry suggested. I'm willing to bet the upper strut mounts are wasted.
