  • anyone w/ 275/40r18??? 4th gen

Looking to put this size on rear... just wonder if anyone here has done it, and if they rub?

I am concerned with the larger diameter...

    Thanks

I know folks have done 18s but I don't know what the sidewall height was. I thought my 17s are 275/40/17 so I would think 18 would be pretty tall with a 40 sidewall.

it would be exactly 1" taller than 275/40R17s

They shouldn't rub if the backspacing is correct.

It will fit, you can stuff a 28" tall tire in the rear of a 4th gen as long as you have adjustable control arms and pan hard to get everything perfectly centered

Hmm, i have 18s on my car but i dont remember what the sidewall measurement is. I dont believe the diameter is any larger, but i could be wrong... I'll take a look tomorrow.

They'll fit. I'd be more concerned with traction then rubbing! lol
