Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

It will be a constant challenge living on a dirt road, but IMO completely worth it. Easier than chrome as far as pitting goes, but black shows every ounce of dust as I'm sure you know with a black car. My car can be completely clean looking but my black hood looks like it hasn't been washed in weeks.

Big plans for paint next year are in the works. The hood is getting repainted to only be black on the elevated part, the roof, part that comes down the side, the top of the spoiler, mirrors, and around the license plate, are all being painted black, and the rest of the car is being repainted red. Over winter I plan to lower it, slotted rotors, stall converter, and headers.

Ambitious plans... should look good. Take a look at my car... very close to yours. I was thinking having the sail panel painted black or dk grey like the center of my hood. I've got same style rims as yours (17/18 with 305 DRs on back) but in chrome. 2012-09-15_15-07-12_535web.jpg

fishman. whered you get your fogs, what size, how much, and how do you mount em? lol lookin to o the same to my bird
Got them at a parts store... I think autozone, maybe oreilleys? They have a rounded rectangle shape and have a mirror smoke look to them. They we're 25-30 bucks. I made brackets from angle 'metal'... the kind that comes with blinds for your house... crap I had laying around. There are holes on either side of the opening in the facia. Didn't want to spend much, and didn't like the squared off oe ones. I had to paint the housing and brackets black before install.
