mine worked best at 20-22. i daily drive them at 22

I got mine to hook the best at 16, any higher and my 60's dropped off. I marked the rim and tire with a window dial in marker, made a pass and it was over an inch moved. Within 3 passes it wound up about 45* off.

I think a torque arm is next on my list followed by 3.73 gears and a converter

torque arm REALLY helps at stabilizing things / preventing wheel hop. Even if you dont gain traction you'll at least gain a lot of confidence that you wont have pieces of driveline falling out from under the car.

          I hope so.
I really want to try to get those 60' times lower.

TA is the most important thing to have for achieving that goal IMO

Real tires, converter, and TQ arm in that order.

I went 1.68 pretty easily with BONE stock suspension, 275/50/15 ET Street Radials, and 325hp. No doubt I could have gotten it into the high 1.5's with more seat time and a few minor changes.

I couldn't agree more the tires and converter should get you into the 1.6s no problem unless you suspension is terribly worn get a real tire on the car not those shittos if I remember right you have a 2500 converter?

Everything is newer, other then the front springs/shocks.

The converter I have only flashes about 2100.

The car needs a lot more converter than that if you want it to 60'.

This is a bolt on LT1 right?

seems pretty tight for a cammed car to be honest does it spin the way its setup now? How are you launching it? I agree with Larry I make a lot more power and can easily get away with running more pressure I run 20 in mine, heavier cars like more pressure typically.

3500+ converter and ET Street radials and it will be going low 1.6's easily.

I launch it off the brake. Just hold the brake enough for it to not creep forward.
It did not spin at all last time, that was with a decent burnout to heat the nittos and them at 16 psi

I agree you need more converter.

A 3600 stall is on my todo list.
May not happen till the winter though
