Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

I plan on keeping my rims, I like them so getting something bigger is not an option.
What is the widest tire I can get? What specific tires would you reconmend?
Will you have another set of tires for winter use?
With what you are asking I would lean towards the BFGoorich G-force sports, The are an ultra high performance summer tire and the tread wear is 340 so they should last for a while.

A lot of people like those tires. My buddy has the gForce Super Sports on his T/A and likes em.

would the G-force sports be a good choice for a road-race autocross tire? I dont want the best grip in the world, i want a tire that holds up to abuse.
After I had my exhaust done I couldn't spin my G-force sports from a slow roll...and now I can't get traction from a slow roll. I have sumitomos on the front right now and they suck. However, the G-force sports seem to be pretty grippy cornering.

I'd suggest the KDWs...that's what SRT4 ACRs came with from the factory.
That's what I am looking at for my summer tires when I get 18s.
