That's what I am looking at for my summer tires when I get 18s.
KDW do not come in a 245/50 or 255/50 and I would stay away from them as I know of few people in which complaned how they got choppy and noisy toward the end of the tread life.

KDWs or KDW2s. I don't care about noise. Towards the end of tread life they're probably border-line becoming slicks.

But looking, they don't make many wider tires for 16s.

Well, I definitely care about road noise after how quiet my car was with comp t/as! but these will be track tires anyway.

Solely track tires? Just cough up the dough and buy some Hoosier race slicks, haha...you only have to replace them all the time! But they stick like glue.

I wound up getting the Riken Raptor ZR's.
I got a pretty good deal on them too.
Looking for some DR's for the track now.

Please post a review after you have done some spirited driving. I checked out TireRack today and they don't show Goodyear's F1 GS-D3 tire in 245/50-16 anymore. Tire choice is getting slim.

I really liked the set of Kelly Charger Directionals I had.

lol the sport is expensive enough. I'm not really concerned with milking everything out of my car, id rather focus on sharpening my own abilities and having fun first!
