  • What drag radials street?

I'm looking for a good set of drag radials for my stock ws6 wheels. I have nt555zr on my rears right now and I can't hook on these at all. I've never been to the track but I want to go asap after I get the right tires but I also need something for just normal driving on the street and basically I want to be able to take a turn on i75 going the speed limit lol I was thinking of nt555r or nt05r. I've heard good things about people using them on the street/strip. Trying not to break the bank here lol

MT ET Street Radials! Unless you have an M6, I heard these are not good with an M6 for track use..

I've had the nitto DR's, wasn't impressed at all..

Edit: I see you have an M6....lol

That's what I thought, but knew you'd be chiming in soon!

I'm looking on the MT site and theres like 3 different versions of the ET streets. I think only one in 275/40/17 which is the ET street radial. Is that the one you're referring too? Any good vendors I can get them from? Thanks!

agreed its a stick so I would say bias ply but hes on a stock 10 bolt, so throw the nittos 555r on but don't expect to hook much better. It'll save you from dropping coin on a 9" right away.

Yeah sounds like the best bet right now. I was scared of the MT's and would rather spin than break the rear axle right now!

I've heard the bias ply thing before for an M6. What are the best bias tires? Best, next best, etc? 17", 19", plus???

So which would give the best traction 555R or nt05R?? but more importantly "better" handling between the two?

Damn I really want to see how my car will do in the 1/4 with full boltons but the 10 bolt has to last me a bit longer....

Just bought the nt555r. I'm kind of hoping they will break loose a little just to baby the rear end for now. My stock f1's were shot anyway Plus I'm reading these will last quite a bit!

they should last 15K miles and are decent in the ran if you drive like a normal human being lol. Make sure you run them around 25lbs on the street or else they will wear prematurely down the center. At the track drop them down to about 18lbs and do a long burnout and get good heat into them. They probably won't dead hook so just practice launching with them.
