Can you argue that it's "revolutionary"? Perhaps. Just because it's "new" and "different" doesn't mean it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

You got the FACTORY primer off with a paint stripper? Your probably the only one in history to do so? What did you use, both joel and I tried aircraft stripper and hardly touched the primer.
I blast at about 100 to 125 if the compressor can keep up. We routinely do 3-500 at work using a pair of 4cly diesel compressors.1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....

No reason to take an attitude there man. Im no where near a "no it all" and i dont pretend to be. If you got it off great, youve had better luck that 99% of the people that try it. No need to be a dick.
God I love people who blow shit way out of proportion.....
Its a damn set of wheels dude, i was just trying to help, you dont like what I have to say? Ignore it.1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....

Uh, this was a question? Hence the question marks.

This was my response to people freaking out about me blasting at 125, 125 is nothing. I dont see how theres anything offensive or "know-it-all" about it, im not the one blasting at that pressure have no clue how. Just stating that people do it all the time. However when im asked if Id like to go visit a job site and get out of the office I take that opportunity, thus where I learned the above fact. 125 is nothing, you clearly understand that.1999 Camaro - 6 liters of fury.....

i had a set of old gp gtp wheels with the gold paint on them and i got all the primer off. i used the aerosol aircraft stripper from car quest(the liquid stuff sucks) in my opinion it worked better than silica sand in a blaster. i don't how much the formulation for the primer changed, but it worked for me on my application.

the clear is not the problem, they are mentioning having issues stripping off the primer and getting down to bare metal.Doing less with more
