Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

In response to my thread a few down, my 315 nittos are rubbing. They are scrapping the inner fenderwell in 2 spots. The lower one looks like it would be easy to bend in a bit to avoid rubbing but the upper one looks like it has something behind it. The driver side(picture below) is worse than the passenger side. Is it ok to hammer those spots in a bit or should I go about this another way?
BFH to the rescue, then get some 3M under coat spray from Autozone and cover it up.
Perfect fix right here

Thanks for the quick replies guys. I pounded each side in and I think I should have it, but I'll double check tomorrow. I got them pounded in in time to make it for ice cream so that was a huge bonus to the test drive.
hmm... how is kolin (tastyZL1) running 315's no problem. however when he bumped up to 335's they rubbed. he has a '00 SS. and it does not appear to be hammered in... spacers?

I've got 315/35/17 Nitto 555R Drag Radials on 17x9.5 speedline ZO6 wheels. I was hesitant running the 315's on a 9.5 wheel, but it seems that nittos run a little skinnier. I'm not sure on the offset/back space but they are factory ZO6 front wheels if that helps any.
here's the mild bulg on the 9.5
