Here's another quick idea. How about just painting them all black? I think that would look good, and it would probably save me a lot of work.

or powdercoating 'em black. i don't know if anyone went downstairs at the autoshow...but in the back corner there was an orange with black flames kinda...Chevy HHR that was a "Jones Soda" car....anyways those rims were powdercoated black it was kick ass. (the HHR was built and done at my friends dealership Cauley Chevrolet...it looks killer. it also had some kick ass orange and black KatSkinZ seat covers...anyways it would give you a good idea with your orange and black setup

It's still pretty kickass! I'm gonna check on some seatcovers tomorrow. I hope to find some cheap on EBay, but I may give in and pay full price. lol

Nick, have you tried Dusseau's junk yard? or one of the others around here for the center caps? I saw a website one time... I'll post the address.

painting them black would look a lot better than what you have now.

So I started polishing them today, and it turned out really nice! I started by removing the old paint with 150 grit sandpaper by hand, and then I went over that to make it even smoother with 500 grit wetsand paper. I decided that I am going to polish the outer rim of the spokes, and paint the rest satin black. I'll post a pic as soon as I finish one.

I should have one of mine done in a couple of days. I want to get the paint to look smooth, so I have a bit of work left to do. I'd like to see a pic of that!

Here's my progress so far. The pics are pretty bad, I know. Try to notice the difference on the rim around the spokes.

I'm gonna try to paint one of them tonight using a can of Black Satin spraypaint, and I'll post more pics then.
