Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

It's not that easy to get a doctor's note. Without my contact's in I'm blind and by law I'm not allowed to drive a car without them in nor would I because I would crash my car. I also have a sensitivity to light problem but my doctor still wouldn't give me the note because I didn't have the "certified condition" which warranted the note........prick.
My eye doctor hands them out like a pedifile handing out M&M's to 12 year old boys! I got one because my migraines seemed to be triggered by bright light.

lmao. I love the analogy.
I've actually been having a lot of problems with brightness when driving the past year and it's only gonna get worse with the snow. So hopefully when I go for my yearly in a month I'll finally get a note.
I can tint my side windows PERFECTLY and can even shrink the tint to the back window so that it lays great, but I ALWAYS get some debris between the back window and the tint. Frustrating as hell! Anyone have any tips on that?
And to the autozone tint turning purple, I've never had that issue. I've tinted probably 10-15 cars and haven't seen any of them turn out like that although I do see cars on the road like that. My windows have been tinted with the current film for 5 years and are still black. I know there are better tints, but the stuff at the parts store isn't bad.

Any tint that turns purple is junk tint. I didnt even read the op on this but I just thought I'd put my $.02 on a 2 year old thread

Tint in a closed garage and most importantly no wind/fan or anything.
squeegie your back window and then respray it. and there's a technique called reverse rolling your tint.
when the tint is on the outside of the glass still(after you have shrank it) peel up half of the clear protective liner and spray the tint with your soapy water solution and then lay the liner back down on the tint (just lay it down with your hands, don't squeegie the liner back down). then do the same on the other half of the tint (so basically you have pulled the entire liner off and put soapy water between the tint and the liner.
I then roll up the tint and liner together from the drivers side to the passanger side so that I have a soapy watery roll of tint.
Then on the inside of the car you respray the glass with the soapy water (after it's been squeegied) and then grab the liner on the tint and unroll it as you unroll the film. then once you have laid the tint the liner will then be on the outside and you throw it out the door!
basically this eliminates the most amount of tint exposure to elements.
It's hard to explain you would have to watch someone do it once or twice to get it maybe.....
