[Project] Wheel-Well RUST repair. HELP!!

Alright guys, im trying to not freak out too badly about this, but I found some rust holes on the trans am . Since I have NO experience in this area, I was wondering if you guys could help me out.

What's the cheapest, easiest, way to repair this and to stop it from either coming back or getting much worse? I'm a DIY type of guy but do not have access to a welder or sheet metal - nor am I skilled in such work.

So far my preliminary (probably totally wrong) plan would be to take an angle grinder with a wire wheel and take all the undercoat off, fill the hole with foam (possibly epoxy?) use a product called "chasis saver" and use some type of rubberized coating over top of that. cringe worthy? you tell me!

Are there shops that could repair this at a decent price?

Filling with foam is just going to trap water and cause more rust. Holes need to be patched properly. And bare metal treated, and coated. You could wire wheel any surface rust and then acid treat and por 15. . But any quick fix is just going to bite you in the ass in the long run.

Since it's inner metal you could get it fixed pretty reasonably with metal if you grind it back to bare metal yourself then after the repair do the painting.

would you or anyone else happen to know of a member on here that has experience with metal patch work?

The first two pictures are going to need to be cut out, a replacement sheet metal welded in and coated. The good news is. From what I can see, it looks like the last two can be cleaned, treated and coated with no metal work!

So I concluded that this ought to be repaired properly with new sheet metal. I got a quote for between $250 - $400 for both wheel wells depending on the extent of the rust. Does this sound resonable?

He said it would include him doing everything from the removal of the old undercoat to sealing and new undercoat after the repair(s)

Sounds reasonable to me. Lots of prep work and it's a pain to make a patch to fit.

Quick update:

I was able to find someone with a quote I couldn't refuse. Here are the pictures he sent me earlier today. looks like pretty legitimate work to me. Should be done tomorrow!
