Got the 317s completely torn down.

Got most of the heavy gunk and grim of the stock bottom end stuff thats going to the machine shop here soon.

            Plan for the heads:
            New stock replacement valves
BTR .660 Springs with ss retainers
            Stock rocker rails
            Hardened pushrods 7.400
Rockers? I was going to upgrade but was told to just do the TRUNION upgrade to the stock ones... anyone else have insight?

Is anyone still following this build?

Honestly I rarely get any response on anything and plenty of other project threads do.

Im not crying about it im just not going to take my time to document this as I go or ask questions when I can do it all somewhere else where people are following.

I read it every time there's an update. But I'm not an "LS" guy, so I just don't have much to contribute.

Been following. Got a ride in that car not long before Kyle tore it down, looking forward to seeing it reincarnated.

Dont feel bad. I did like 90% of the talking in my air ride build thread. But much like there, we are still watching you do your thing.

I didn't go for the trunion upgrade, not running super stiff springs or a terribly aggressive cam. Also keeping the RPM's under 6200 on my 6.0

Easy to install though, and if the budget isn't tight, they are a worth while upgrade.

OK guys well i guess its good to know people are keeping up lol.

Turbo will more than likely be next tax season unless i have some stellar sales months because i want to order all of it at once.

And thanks hoogies, i was gunna go with new rockers all together so the trunion is actually alot cheaper. i was never going to stay stock because im going with the little john stage 2 turbo cam which is pretty aggressive

Sorry for no updates. Last couple weeks have been crazy busy.
Went to Tennessee and hiked the smokey mountains for a few days and then with mothers day and all Ive been too busy to get anything done.
Plus working on 100% commission at times i must wait for my monthly payday lol
