The terminator EFI seems promising for the simple fact that you can pull timing on the fly. That makes it very bottle friendly and keeps the manners while just cruising.

shhhh! no telling! haha.. yea I think I am going to go the whole 383 route for this.. was talking about possibly doing forced induction.. not sure on that yet.. but whatever I do.. want to keep it under the stock hood.. I like the look of the car too much to rip it all up.

Not Really I figured it out weeks ago.Originally posted by Jdseibe View Post.... (I know, the suspense must be killing you haha).. I will tell you a few things about it.. I'm staying Third Gen.. and it's white.. the rest you will have to wait to find out about haha!....

I probably shouldn't mention it.. because it is only a possibility.. but there IS a slight possibility that I can get my hands on a mild 454 street engine for a good price.. but we will see about that! ....

I was going to do a FI 383, but I learned very quickly that the money to get it right with that combo is a lot. A LOT. Do a carb with a stroker.

Yes I agree, that is the pure reason i switched over to carb... I didnt want to mess with tuning and computers and wiring. Much cleaner look too IMO granted you can hide wires anytime.Originally posted by Jdseibe View PostI originally stuck with a carb'd setup because of the simplicity of it

I am a fan of the carb for a few reasons, but I will say after driving one all summer it is a PITA lol. But I would still vote keep it carb'd

So currently the car is carbureted, and so was my previous car. I was kind of wondering what everyones opinion on carb vs EFI is.
obviously it is easier to stay carb'd since it's already setup for that.. but I know there is also a lot of benefit to running EFI.
does it make sense for my 383 build to go EFI, and if so.. what would you suggest being the best budget friendly option?

Speaking of title changing..I think another Jeremy is still waiting for his title to be swapped: http://www.mifbody.com/vbulletin/sho...l=1#post893369Originally posted by 92conv View PostSo do you want a title change? Let me know I can make that happen.

I think Gandalf in itself would be a fitting name, old and white but with tricks up it's sleeve. Then again, that sounds more like Sean's car
Which reminds me, I need to come up with a better name for my IROC. Currently it's Tyra...inherited it from the previous owner. I'm not big into naming them but when you pour so much money into them...well, "pile of shit" isn't very fitting.
