so I found an aluminum Quadrajet intake and an electronic controlled Q-jet from an 85 Camaro, the guy wants to sell them for 115 for both of them.. doesn't seem like too bad of a deal on them.

I took a photo of mine last night for you. I'll try to post it tonight.
Yes I did. Replaced this one with something else, and no longer had room to keep it inside. Had plans for this car, but time and space never allowed me to dig into it. Offered it to Jeremy figuring he'd enjoy it, and that if he was going to invest money he ought to do on a car that will have some "end value".Originally posted by Curt_irocz View Postawesome car! I love it. Scott you had 2 84 15th cars?

Hey 92conv any way that you might be able to check out on your 84 what numbers are on your Qjet?
Sounds like the reason its not been running right is because this old qjet is off an old truck that probably had a th350 and doesn't have the proper dentent bracket for the 700r4 .
I want to replace the carb with the original style.
PS thanks for the photo!

So first step for the car is getting it running.. I plan to rebuild the quadrajet on it myself. I have rebuilt plenty of motorcycle carbs.. But this will be my first carb for a car.
I snapped a few pics of the carb.. But couldn't find any ID numbers on it.. It's pretty dirty so they may just be hiding under grime.
Can anyone ID this carb off hand so I can get a rebuild kit for it?
Also it appears as though this carb doesn't have an electric choke assembly?
If anyone can point me in a good direction on these I'd appreciate it.

I totally agree.. I was cleaning up my garage some and my wife was out there helping.. and she was rolling her eyes at me because I kept staring at the car hahaOriginally posted by 92conv View PostAnd hands down the 15th Anniversary is probably my favorite of all the anniversary TA's made. I could sit in the garage and stare at that car all day long.
