Today I decided to look into wiring some, since I still have some random wires laying in the engine bay, and a couple misc things still don't work.

the windows never rolled down, so i pulled the center console and the switches were just unhooked, so yay! plugged them in and the windows work.. awesome!

the brake lights and signals didn't work, so I decided to check that stuff out, i looked at the fuses and saw a couple blown in there, so I decided to replace them.. turn signals and brake lights work now.. awesome! except.. when i turn on the hazard lights.. it immediately blows the brake/hazard fuse.. dang.. can't just be that easy huh? I guess the next step will be to replace the blinker relay in case there is a short or something, and check all my grounds.

I have some random plugs in the engine bay that I am not 100% what they go to.

Engine build has officially started, dropped off the 350 roller block off at the machine shop yesterday!

Also pulled the power steering pump, need to pull they pulley, and replace. I need to figure out what all the vacuum lines in the engine bay are for, which ones can be removed which ones need to stay, flush the radiator, and hookup the fans and im good to go!

The rear may be quieter with carpet in too. Some gear noise is normal, and is amplified in vehicles where you share the interior space with the "box" that covers the axle...like in a van, RWD utility, wagon or hatch back. I haven't heard a cargo G-van yet that didn't seem loud.

What you have may be excessive...hard to say from a post.
it could be normal, I was making sure to try and listen to every sound haha.

So I officially took the T/A out for its maiden voyage (around the block) and let me tell you.. it was.. rough haha, definitely needs some work.. the main thing is that the power steering pump is shot so it makes horrible noises.. there is a whining noise coming from the 9 bolt most likely? and the timing/carb needs some adjustments.. but all in all.. I was STOKED!

the car rattled and was really annoying on the inside, mostly due to the fact that there is no carpet, but all in all, i was pretty happy with how the drive turned out.

The next step will be to replace the power steering pump, and get that all figured out, after that will be to figure out the whining noise from the rear end, maybe the wrong type of oil was used, but I was pretty sure I bought the correct kind.

no real updates guys..

which unfortunately means the car still isn't on the road. I took my rear wheels into my work to get the tires swapped onto them, well since its been so nice out the guys have been very busy with the other cars and haven't had a chance to swap my tires yet, I have still yet to bring in my front tires either because I have kind of been waiting on the rears to come home to jack up the front, the thing that stinks the most is that regardless if I even got the tires all mounted today, I haven't had time to actually put miles on the car, so I have no idea if it would even make that far of a drive or not

I might still be able to load it up on a trailer and bring it to the meet and greet, we will see :\

I'm already expecting to hear crap about it not being ready from Darren and C2YT, on a positive note though, it is almost ready for the road and really want to bring it out to woodward.

Things I DID get done though is that I got the throttle bracket from Darren and got it all hooked up and everything, I messed with the timing and carb a bit more and seems to be running good, I have the rear end of my car all ready for the tires to go back on, I am so close I can taste it.. just not close enough haha

I think that would be a fantastic choice. I may have to swing by here pretty soon. Dialing in my tune, so its a good excuse to drive!
