I'm sure it does. I would also like to clean the engine bay up some so it'll help there too.

Yeah it does. So far the best thing though its fuel line removal. It looks almost bare on the driverside of my car now.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. I thought about the glove box to. Mine is out right now, but heard problems of overheating.
Track use only might not be a problem though.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. I need to get one of thosesigpicOriginally posted by ryanwarby01Put it this way, if you have a money tree a LT1 is a wood chipper!

That's what I am hoping. I ordered that MSD harness so I don't have to splice any factory wiring.Originally posted by Fox Slaughter View PostI thought about the glove box to. Mine is out right now, but heard problems of overheating.

Get some wedge connectors.
I can take a picture of mine.
also I had to cut the mallory harness and extend it just to get it to the passenger side of the car. It will literally only reach the coil to the firewall. The harness is not long at all.
At sometime when I clean everything up I will probably just repin the connector with proper lengths.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. I need to get one of thosesigpicOriginally posted by ryanwarby01Put it this way, if you have a money tree a LT1 is a wood chipper!

I actually have a good selection of wire, got it from a shop that was going out of business, multiple colors and in every gauge 24-6. I will probably add in the exact same amount to each.
I plan on getting some good wire loom to make it as stock looking as possible.
Side note:
Just ordered Brembo rotors, Hawk HPS pads and brake hardware for my LS swap.
Will probably order the SJM kit on Wednesday after I get my paycheck.
I am on spring break next week, so I will have 20+ hours free without class and studying.
Still working 40 hours, but atleast I will have some time to work.sigpic

Here is a picture of the Mallory harness connected to the MSD harness.

Its just some Nylon quick disconnects.
Also don't mine the wire mess. Need to get some looms and make it look a lot better.Originally posted by Yoshi94Mines about an inch bigger than Kyles. I need to get one of thosesigpicOriginally posted by ryanwarby01Put it this way, if you have a money tree a LT1 is a wood chipper!

It was my understanding that you don't need a sealant for AN style fittings? So what is the red stuff that comes with the Gen X accessories kit? It is in a little tube with a precision applicator. Does not mention it anywhere in the instructions. Also the bottom two sections of my box had nothing in it, am I missing something?sigpic

I've always heard not to use any sealant on -AN fittings because they seal themselves. If any of the fittings have an NPT fitting on them, those should use sealant. It's probably for any gauges or senders included in the kit.Last edited by birdie2000; March 6th, 2013, 01:17 PM.
