Welcome to the Michigan FBody Association website.
The Michigan FBody Association is a centralized website for FBody enthusiasts to discuss what's going on in the Michigan area. MiFbody.com was created to allow for an easy one-stop place to find out what's going on in Michigan as far as FBody events, to find out what clubs are available in your immediate area, and for an easy place to post classifieds for items you want to sell! Our goal was to create a more close-knit community of FBody enthusiasts in the state of Michigan, and to bring Camaro and Firebird enthusiasts alike together for some amazing FBody events!
The most important thing to know about the Michigan FBody Association is that we are NOT a club! The Michigan FBody Association is open to everyone, and is a community. Thus, we will have get togethers, casual cruises, events, and such like that, but this is not an exclusive club and it's 100% free to join this site! So what are you waiting for? Register now!

My dad's car had worse issues with the track, on the one run where they let us go the full 1/4 he ran a 10.08. I have a video of his 10.08 pass vs my 12.40 pass that I can upload soon. Here is his scary 1/8 mile pass
Looks good man... Definately likes the bottle, almost a full second off the 1/8 and i'm sure you got some more tuning to do...
What kinda shocks are in the front and rear?
anti roll bar or sway bar?
and where do you have your pinion angle at?
If you could get your sixties in the high 1.4's you should see a high 6.9x
Congrats again on your new personal best
Thanks! I usually run 1/4s, Milan was not allowing people to because "racing will get done faster" with 1/8s, mind you, you still have to drive the whole 1/4 mile... Anyways, I have stock springs, stock front shocks, cheap KYB rear shocks, 1LE 32mm front bar, stock rear. I have a stock torque arm as well, not sure what my pinion angle is, when I last checked it it was -2*

got ya, i was at lapeer 2 weeks ago and 400 feet after the 1/4 lights there were puddles of water lol, shit was like taking a bath... damn, if you were willing to spend a little coin and stiffen the suspension up a little and put some decent shocks on it, there's a lot of E.T. left on the table for you.... a bmr or umi rear drag bar with some decent shocks like qa1 or stange would work wonders for your car, plus a adjustable torque arm... to be honest with you i'm suprised your car sixty's as good as it does with as little suspension mods you have.. put some 250 jets in it and run your dads car lol!
Got the 4l60e in I got from @chrizar. It had some decent stuff in it already. Everything looked good inside.
I just put new 3-4 clutches, new 2-4 band, filter, and called it good.
Transmission shifts pretty well. Has great pressure all around.
Installed the UMI torque arm relocation cross member I got.
Has a little bit of vibration that wasn't there before, may ditch the energy suspension mount and use a prothane I have sitting around.
I just got the set of rear calipers I got from @dawdaw cleaned, disassembled, and sand blasted. They should be off to Darren sometime soon so I can finally finish my LS1 brake swap.

Still saving $$$ for that RPM transmission.
Glad the trans worked for ya, even more glad it was what the previous owner told me it was. Looking forward to seeing it out on WW sometime soon.
