  • [Project] 1988 GTA

Got a fb message on my drive home tonight. A friend has a cousin who bas had her 1988 gta sitting for the past two years. Its at her in laws and it needs GONE. they were gonna scrap it (ball park value 360.00)

They parked it for a fuel pump issue and its got headlight motora burned up.

    Its a 350...unsure of mileage.

Im waiting for more pics and a price before goin to look at it.... But i think i want it.

Trailering it back to MI would tack on a few bills!

I can say that I like my third gen better than any fourth gen I've driven, and I've always liked the GTA's

                  Thats what im thinking.

Think since i have the scoup that they were gonna scrap it (scrap value 360-380 , plus subtract towing fee) it needs a fp...and headlight motors minimum.... Ill start at a 450 dollar offer...and as long as tgere is NO rot...ill go up to 800.

Tow it home, and cover it up on the concrete slab out back till i decide which way to go with it.

Shoot if they are going to scrap it I wouldnt be offering more then the $450 at first and I dont think I would even go to $800! They would be foolish not to accept a offer more then what they would get at the scrap yard.
