Pretty simple process - there's a number you call (preferably with a part number) and the guys will look it up and let you know which location closest to you will have it. There's a small window of time 1 day a week to pick up your order.

I can provide the number (actually a link to the intranet site too) if someone just wants to PM me.

98-02 4l80e 2wd from a 3/4 ton or 1ton truck.

OK.... The parts manager is willing to sell us one at cost which is $2100...

Update:
Iv been beating my head against the wall trying to find a way to get the car to idle right with these new seimans deka 80#'s. So when you guys come pick it up it can be started and drove onto a trailor with no issues also so the new trans can be tested. Seems how im new to tuning fuel injection iv had a hard time with it.
Yusterday Bill Short put me in touch with a guy that will do it for me. And hopefully teach me alittle bit. It wont be good enough to run the car on boost so it will still need to be tuned. But it will run better so no one will have to strugle with it. Best I could do.
Now ill see if I can get a buddy to come over and help me get the waste gate installed.

Also alittle engine bay shot for you guys. I took the picture to send to the guy thats going to help tune the Injectors. So I thaught id share it you guys. Nothing special nothing to hide.

Well have to save up for a while to hit. I was quoted $750 for a rebuild from Al's trans and gear in flint.
Gonna try Detroit gearbox today.

Im also going to talk to our heavy tech and see if he has a trans laying around

Helping matt keep you guys up to date.
Als trans and gear wants $750 to just refresh the trans. No converter, no warrenty, and wants the money up front.
Call was put into dacco and the parts to rebuild the trans cost $505 with new stock converter. $800 with a 3000 stahl converter. Like matt said we would need someone who knows how to rebuild transmission then.
A buddy of mine put a call into detroit gear box. Nothing heard as to how that will go.
Anyone know how to rebuild a trans.
