  • [Project] '94 firebird formula.

I traded my '00 grand prix GTP for a '94 firebird formula w/ a t56 last fall and am loving it so far. the car was set up for auto-xing and i will be slowley turning it into my own. The car is mostly stock power wise other than an exhaust, Hooker super comp headers, and MSD ignition. Handling wise it's got a few more things done, Complete Sam Stranos suspension. Springs, sway bars, urathane, bilstien shocks. it's got a rather haggard 4 point roll bar. i'm slowly grabbing parts for it as i find stuff. no huge plans for the car this year other than to learn to drive it better and have some fun. the plan is to leave the LT1 in until it blows up or next winter, what ever comes first. at that time i'd like to do a 6.0 swap with H/C/I. this is my first F-body so it will be a learning experience for me!

"Rather haggard 4 point roll bar"

We need to see pics of this!

Sounds like fun, and it's looking really good. Why does the front sit so low? I have stranos all around as well and i don't think it's that low

nice looking ride, I've actually always liked LT1 Formulas. You do have relocation brackets for those Founders LCAs, right?

No, I didn't get them. I wasn't sure if I needed them or not. It seems to be fine without them, but if it would be better with the relocation brackets ill get some and get them welded on when the sfc's go on.

I think you should switch the taillights out to the honeycomb.

Love it! I haven't used any other ones to compare it to, but it is a very crisp, precise feeling movement. I don't have any regrets with it.

I would like to get some base model lights with no pattern at all, but honeycombs will be my second choice.

Was this car on Craigslist in Ionia? I always wanted to go check it out but never had the time. Looks like a nice car for the price!
