  • DRYSUMP's (tastyZL1) Yet Another Restoration Project...Project

Well since my numbers were accidentally posted somewhere else before I could finish my nice little video I figured I'd at least like to get the chance to tell the mifbody community myself.

The pull before I had all cameras rolling (but Fred got it on his phone) my engine made a best of 650hp and 575tq! I'm stoked this lil girl is going to be a beast I could easily pick up 50-70more hp if I go with a better intake (aka bling master Brent style) and 65# injectors instead of the current 55# (injectors are still be debated due to me working out if I will still continue to run E85 as planned).

Also at this time I would like to announce my new user name which is actually two announcements in one for those of you who haven't picked up on something else I'm doing... I await the change from master B...

Nice number man! Beastly for sure. You plan on taking it down a track to see what it will. At least run?

Doesnt look like a 102mm to me which ive seen produce gains on engines making less hp, so i believe it.

nice numbers kolin! I dont think your 10 bolt will think so though lmao

No I'll take it to the track and will definitely need to replace the 10 bolt too lol but I want to get into more road course racing with it.

                      • I'd curious to see the graph, never seem to see the plastic intakes pulling past 65-6700.

                        • the ls7 style do. but all fast intakes are junk

                          • We actually tested them before stock ls7 and fast ls7 and to our surprise the fast did make more power. I'll see what I can get from the saved dyno reports.
